Where do dreams go from here?

Went to take DHL hot air balloon with aunite, uncle and ridley. We got there late because my parents and yan ting had HAnan CHicken Rice for lunch . This one was different because the rice was roll up in a shape of a ball. They waited for 1/2 hour for the chicken rice to came. Turn out that the lady took the wrong table number. Then it was our turn to go up. I was scared at first , the balloon went all the way up , about 40 storey high. I was afraid of height as we had to stand in the balloon without any seat belt.

Everything was so small when I look down . Saw esplanade , suntec tower and Marina Madrain hotel AND the Sea wtih ships on it. Later went to Bugis to shop. I bought a pair of new shoes for $??? .Quite expensive but no choice, my feet size was small that even a size 4 ( smallest size of all shoes )can't even fit. ALl the shoes I saw , which I liked and within my budget are OUT . Course I simply can't wear it. Same goes for some clothes. But in terms of buying clothes , slightly better than buying shoes. Yipee , now all my new year 's clothes have been settle.

For dinner , went to food court to eat. Then I saw a disguised scene. People were coming in looking for places to have dinner AND THERE THEY WERE , SOME INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE WHO SIMPLY FINISHED THEIR FOOD ,SAT THERE CHATTING, SLOWLY DRINKING THEIR DRINKS . WORSE, THESE PEOPLE KNOW OTHERS ARE WAITING FOR THEIR SEATS , AND THEY SIMPLY TURN A BLIND EVYES AGAINST THEM AND CONTINUE THEIR ''LITTLE CHATS''. EVEN WORSE, TWO LADIES WHO DIDN"T EAT ANYTHING OR DRINK ANYTHING SAT THERE CHATIING , HOGGING THE SEATS. AND THERE WAS THIS TABLE OF SIX WHO ALSO HOG THE SEATS AFTER THE CLEANER HAD CLEAR UP THEIR DIRNKS AND FOOD!

ARE OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM THAT BAD? OR ARE TEACHERS CONCENTRATING TOO MUCH ON TEACHING WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO TEACH TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR EXAMS THAT THEY DIDN"T TEACH THE STUDENTS THE BASIC MORALS ?
OR ARE PARENTS NOT TEACHING THEIR CHILD THE RIGHT THING. SOmetimes I even see parents doing the wrong things and not corrcting them . Their kids would then think whatever their mommy and daddy had did was right and learned from them.

IN A SHOPPING MALL , I SAW SOME PARENTS WANTING TO FEED THEIR KIDS MILK OR BREASTFEED NEW BORN BABIES. SO THEIR NEED A SEAT. BUT YOUNGSTERS JUST SIT THERE PRETENDING NOTHING HAD HAPPENED AND IGNORING THE POOR COUPLES LOOKING FOR SEATS TO FEED THEIR CHILDREN. IN THE END THEY END UP STANDING .

MRT AND BUS : GIVE UP YOUR SEATS FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MORE THAN YOU. PEOPLE JUST TURNED THEIR EYE AGAINST IT. PREGNANT WOMEN HaD TO STAND THROUGHOUT THE RIDE WITHOUT ANYONE GIVING UP A SEAT FOR THEM.SAME GOES FOR ELDERLY. IF FORGINgERS OR TOURISTS WERE TO SEE IT , WHAT WOULD THEY THINK OF SINGAPOREANS ?

Thank godness not all singaporeans are like that. SOme in which I came across give up their seat for others. THank god my friends and I did the right thing when we give up all 3 of our seats for a pregnant lady . But I do admit that not all times I did the right thing.Sometimes I give up the seat for a person in need, someone else who come snatching the seat away .OR the person in need was far away from me that I couldn't give up the seat. If I do , others who came rushing for the seat. It happened before.

PS : No offends. The above is based on my own comment on what I've seen. I may not be 100% off guilty but not all singaporeans are like that. I belived there are some who are not among the black sheeps that spoiled the image of singapore.

Seriously , not wonder Singaporeans go overseas get dispise by people there by their behaviour.
