Holidays are finally here. For the whole of last week , we did nothing except to slack in school. Monday : Watch Mr Bean when we are supposed to have inter class . Too bad , due to rain, it was being cancelled ~ Tuesday :Played Monopoly and have the strategic Games competition ~ Wednesday : sexuality talk ~ Thursday: Have the people from dunno what drama company come. We had the so called 'Amazing race' and tried to figure out what do Myths really meant ~ Friday : Receive our yearbook '07 . Fantastic and good for memory keeping. Also the day where we got back our report book. The day where prizes were given out. I've won the 1st prize in the Chinese writing competition for sec 3 level , a so called ' 4th prize ' for the maths strategic games competition . A badge for MS PRIDE and a cerfiticate for being top 10 in level ( actually for good academic results ) .
SO finally the hoildays are here but the sec 3 have bridging programme, in preparation for O-level and to get our sec 3 topics right. Though it's quite boring but for the sake of our benefit , had to bear with it.

Today was supposed to have interclass but due to the rain, it was cancelled. All sec 3 were then bought up ot the AVA room where we watched Mr BEan 's hoilday . It was quite a nice movie but if the noise level was lower , we could have enjoy it better. People at the back were making a lot of noise until we can't hear. After that was recess and back to the AVA room . We then proceed to computer lab 1 to do maths survey, PE -survey and NE survey . We were then given 1 hr to surf the net .

Just received news that the Competition held at NEA won us a $50 commendation. Just one more zero and we could have won the 1st prize. But never mind , at least we got won $50 . Better than nothing after all the hard work we have put in.

This morning woke up then starting packing things needed for the rock climbing and dragon boating . In the end when I went to school , saw some people bringing their slippers and another pairs of dry shoes did i realise that I actually forgotten about it. But it turns out that xuan , jia ping and kirti all never bring so we just have to try our luck and hope for the best that our shoes do not turns out to be wet and bad .
We changed into our pe - shorts while some track pants and boarded the bus to the venue for the activities. We returned to Camelot for the activities . When we arrived there , the first thing we saw was the familar aeroplane flying pass our heads . Our class was first to arrived there and hence we were able to choose between dragon boat or rock - climbing first. Almost all of us chose rock - climbing first. CHia hao was the demo for the rock -climbing and after than we were divided into 2 groups . My group, we gotten the boys to go first before xuan then I . Scared of heights so I didn't managed to get to the top but tried to get pass the red line and I did it. Then sat there , wait for everyone to finish and saw the batch who went for dragon boating coming back, all wet . Soon , it's our turn . Borrowed shoes from pei zhen cause she went down for dragon boating first . We were then divided into two groups and down we go for the dragon boating. Of course with lifejackets. AS usual we hold arms to arms and tried to float before boarding the boat. Sat with xuan . Our boat got 6 dragonboaters so the instructor just briefly taught us how to hold the ( dunno what it's called . it's for rowing ) . anyway we row and row and it's quite fun although i was afraid of falling into the sea or something for the boat was shaking . but it didn't. Were all wet for head to toe and sands were stucked in my hair. We helped Monfort boys to lift their kayat back on land and then everyone lifted the dragon boat on land. Seems hard but with around 30 ++ people , the dragon boat turns out light. Went for a mild bath . No towels , no plastic bag , no nothing. dying to get back home and have a cool bath.

Today is the first day of our post exam activities . Sec 1 and 2 will be doing Golf for today and tomorrow, while the sec 3 which is us will be doing Archery for today , Rock -climbing and Dragon Boating for tomorrow. Went to Geylang CC to do Archery , which is near the MAlay village there. Was quite surprised when the bus stopped there. The venue was different from what I thought it to be, but never mind , it would still do. First , we were brief on the names of the different parts of the bow and the arrow. The one we are doing today is known as the bare arrow ( something like that . Can't really remember ) . Anyway then the safety procedure and how to shoot . Later we were divided into groups of 4 and each group will take turns to shoot , but allowed only 3 arrows only . It was quite fun though although I am scared at the beginning . The bow was a bit heavy for me, maybe I got no strength and shooting caused me to have muscle ache. We also watch a video of the different between what we are learning and what the olympic style shooting was . There was also a demo on how to repair the flitch of the arrow. At the end of the day , we have a mini competition within the group to see who can shoot down the 4 balloons. DIdn't thought I would win but I managed to shoot down an orange balloon after my third try. To total up , it was a worthwhile lesson . The teachers also took part in it too. \
After returning to school , jia ping , kirti and I went to mac to eat and rush back to school for one last minute preparation for the competition held at NEA ( national environmental agency ) . We were laughing and calm each other down. I think we did not did so badly though and it was quite a nice presentation although the part when it comes to answering the questions was not so good. But anyway we did our best and that's what matters. So once again would like to thank MS ho , Mr Dinesh, Mr Vinott for helping us and Mr koh for driving us there =) hope we would be able to win the 1st prize for our school , teachers- in charge and for our team .

I don't wanna get back my report book. Did not do well in End of year exam and so it will pulled down my overall marks. But i really wanna get the bursary award. Knew I would't be part of the top 5 % in the level or in class. It should be the same old people as in during the 1st half of the year. But would be happy enough if I would at least be able to get the award for my parents. This award is going into my education fund in which is going to be used in the future for my further education after secondary school.
Starting to get panic and worried about O-level. I wonder how I am going to survive it. There's so many chapters to study and worse of all I really have to buck up on my weak subjects if not by the time O-level come I wouldn't be ready at all . Sometimes really wonders , why people have to study and why singaporeans kids really had a hard time when it comes to studies. Stress from parents , heavy school load plus CCA and projects. It really took up most of our time and there wasn't simply enough time for own personal activities provided if you know how to manage time properly . SO now all the best and keep my fingers crossed for a miracle to happen =)

Exams are finally over and we have gotten back our results. It was terrible. Some subjects was quite disappointing for me. DId not do well overall . ANd on top of that, I failed CHemis. Okay , that's predictable , course I am failing it throughout the year.But still hoping to pass though and I just broke down and cried when I received the papers. Anyway , I just hope that the results on the report would be better and I would be able to receive the bursary award. Right now , I think it's best to have fun and relax a bit until the arrival of my REport Book.
It's so fast. THe school year is ending. Can't believe it. It's been 3 years in CBSS and it seems like yesterday when I first entered the school with CHun hui and we were wandering aroung the parade square , wondering where to assemble. ANd there were my newclassmates in 1e2 where Mrs verona stepped in and greets us and we chose the class monitor on the first day itself. Sad to said , 1e2 '05 chose the wrong monitor. Whoosh .... O-level would be here and with another wind blowing by , we would be receiving our O-level results and ended our secondary life. Shall said , I would really miss it. WOuld miss my dear teachers, friends , the school facilities and a lot morre . The best thing I could do now was to treausre the time left in the school and extremely hard for next year and to buck up one my english , maths and science.
