Okay , this is my first entry which is part of my English homework for the JuNe hoilday. So, today was Vesak Day.As usual, I woke up at 6am and together with my parents, we went to a temple . We arrived at the temple at around 7am plus and there were already a lot of people. Daddy says "The atmosphere here is consider okay. If it is at 'Si ma lu ' there that temple or elsewhere, sure got thousands and thousands of people".
So we enter the temple . While my parents were buying joss sticks and other stuff for praying , I went to 'bath the Buddha'. Don't get me wrong. What I meant was to scoop water from the little well and pour it over the buddha 3 times. After praying , we went to a place next to the temple and had breadfast there. Food were free considering : one table had to had 10 people before they served the food and no food is to be wasted.In Buddhism , it is believed that food came from farmers who work hard in the field all day long. So if one wasted food, it is as good as wasting the farmers ' effort in cultivating crops .
Food include Bee Hoon, Peanuts, Curry, Tau Pok & Char Siew.To obey the rules , all of us sitting at the same table had to try and finished off the food even though we were quite full. Mummy then bought some Bee hoon and Poh Pian( spring rolls) for Grandpa.
In the afternoon, we decided to go out. We came to Plaza Singapura . There I came across a matter which I felt so unfair of.
We were getting hungry after walking and shopping when we decided to have a quite meal at a shop which sold Toast bread . Somewhat similar to 'Ya Koon' . It was a rather small place and quite squeezy too. There were no availble seats for us , so we had to wait. Luckily for us , we managed to get seats in a few minutes. While we were waiting for food, other customers came in and wanted to eat but there were no seats. AND THE WORST THING WAS THERE WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE SEATS AVAILBLE BUT SOME INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE SIMPLY REFUSED TO GAVE UP THEIR SEATS ! Why did i Said that. WHile I noticed that there were 4 guys seated behind out table. They came earlier than us and had finished their food BUT THEY JUST CONTINUED TO SAT THERE CHATTING ! ANd there were 2 ladies too. They purposely left a small piece of bread to show they hadn't finished their meal and sat there too, chatting along . WHAT DO THEY TAKE THE PLACE FOR ? IF THEY HAD SO MUCH TO CHAT , GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. WHY CAN"T THEY GOT UP & LEAVE SO OTHERS COULD HAVE A CHANCE TO ENJOY THE FOOD. There were 2 empty seats next to the lady and her friend . In the end, the waitress there had to ask her if anyone was sitting there before asking a couple to have the 2 seats. DESPITE KNOWING PEOPLE ARE WAITING FOR SEATS YET THESE PEOPLE CAN SIMPLY SAT THROUGH CHATTING AND TURNING A BLIND EYES AGAINST THINGS AROUND THEM ! I JUST CAN"T BELIEVE IT. WHY ARE THERE PEOPLE LIKE THEM EXISTING IN THIS WORLD.

Hurray! After 5++months of hard work n tolerating , the long wai of hoildays is finally here. I was ever sooo happy when Mrs Menon finished her speech and wished us a HAPPY HOILDAY ! I was clapping my hand together with others. Today, Mummy came to school to the parents-meeting session. Ms ang show her my report slip. It was not that good. I was 6th in class and 8th in level. Worse than last year. I 'm ever soo disappointed. So intend to work hard during the next semester and starting from this June hoilday. But too bad, still got the CHinese project , E.maths project , physic project N chemis AA. On top of that still have to return to school for the 1st week and last week of school & last but not least homework.
Anyway, wishing everyone a very happy hoilday ! Enjoy yourself and work hard at the same time !

This time , I 'm utterly disappointing in my results . They were really bad and far from my expectations.It took me exactly 3 days to recover. I shall say no more about it.It just brings back unhappy moments.Thank Godness I have my friends with me. "SIn yee' a BIG thank you to you for cheering me and motivating me up , we shalll work hard together. Yan ting 'biao jie' THANK YOU to u too. And not forgetting my CBSS gals. Thanks a lot guys.I 'm feeling better now and 50 % of me had return to original shape.
Anyway putting that aside, yesterday, Library Club had a farewell tea party for sec 4 seniors who are stepping down and to welcome new committee members. I was made the president of Library CLub , SUsanna , the vice president n yi hong , chun hui , jia ping ....were made committee members. Congra to all. Although it's a bit late as that was months ago when the decision was made. The food was great. I loved the chocolate buns although I had only one , it got me wanting to have another. But can't . Got to think of others who did not have and there were only a few. Beside that , there were also curry puffs , seaweed chicken and others. Had games too . Although it's quite boring , but considered good enough. Went home at around 4.30pm.
Today , we had a heritage tour to Malay Heritage Centre, Chinese Heritage centre & 'Tian Fu Gong ' at near chinatown. Fall asleep when on bus to first destination. The air-con are not strong enough.The other classes had strong air -con on their buses. JUst walk past one and you can feel the air-con. The malay heritage tour was okay although we did made quite a lot of noise. The visit to the temple was quite short. Everyone were like going to pray to 'KONG ZI' a.k.a Confucious ( can't spell ) .Anyway , I join in too and donate some money as a token of respect. 'KONG ZI' was well known to be a teacher and good in studies. So if yiou wished to excel in your studies, go prayed to him. That was being passed down from generation to generation . Chinese heritage centre was okay. We saw what it was like in the past in which the people lived and stayed in . The worst part was there was this fat guy who shown us 'black face' for turning up late and mad at some people for eating ice-cream and delaying the rest. He 's right but then he brought up the topic of tourists complaing about SIngaprean kids behaviour . That got me mad.What right has he got to say that. ISn't he a kid once too ? Doesn't he behave like us before ? He reminded us not to make noise and bang on the stairs & disallow us to use the lift. This got us mad and soon , people were banging on the stairs. The trip was rather nice and I 've learn a lot of things and appreciate what I have today.

Today is the start of mid -year exam. This year , is completely different from last year. The papers were more difficult and hard to understand. Take today 's paper . Quite hard especially Paper 2 .Though I understand the passages but don't know how to answer them. For paper 1 , the questions for free writing were hard. I choosed Qn 5 which says "millions". Jia ping and chun hui wrote that too. Ying xuan and Kirti choosed Qn 2 which says 'an day where everything gone wrong". I mean to wrote about that but found the storyline I planned to be a bit too common hence choosing Qn 5 . For Qn 5 , I think I wrote a bit out of point. This time I 'm sure I will flunked my english . Everyone is class were like this paper 'sucks' ( no offends ) and 'so hard' . True it was really hard. I almost cried when I saw so many questions which I don't know how to answer.So can only hope for the best now.
Tomorrow will be Mother Tongue Paper. Hopefully it doesn't came as hard as today 's english papers. Good Luck to everyone =)
Drenched a bit in the rain . Not only me , jia ping , kirti & ying xuan all never bring umbrella. Ying xuan changed a different bag hence she didn't bring . For me , I thought that it wouldn't be so unlucky that it rains so I didn't bring . Everytime I bought my umbrella it didn't rains. When I didn't bought it , it will rains. As for jia ping , well , she never learned her lesson. Each time it rains , she will shared with Kirit or Chun hui. Walk home with them. Went to 7-11 , jia ping & xuan were like 'you eat then i accompany you eat' . In the end, jia ping ate noodles while xuan wanted to save money so she didn't eat. We were watching jia ping and feel like eating too. So we teased jia ping about eating slowly and blah blah saractisely. Ever so happy to see chun hui at the bus-stop. She lent me her umbrella so I didn't get drenched in the rain !
