Yesterday went to esplanade to watch the play 'Above us only sky'. The show was quite okay . The script was well written and the three actress were great.Their acting was perfect. But overall the show was a bit boring. Looks like I still prefer watching musicals that have singing and dancing. Some were about to fall asleep while some others have already fallen asleep. After that , I went with gals to marina square where kirti bought some fries and drinks . Then we were deciding where to head for dinner. In the end , we decided to head to Bugis for dinner for jia ping want to go there to buy new year clothes. So then we were walking around searching for the right way that lead to suntec city where we could go by City Link for MRT. At City link, kirti wanted to buy diary but in the end , after some time, she decided not to buy.
I had omelette rice with bacon for dinner while ying xuan and jia ping had noodles. Had some jokes and laughter during dinner. Head to bugis Street. Saw hui hui and tian tian, they were going home.On top of that, we sae jasmine, yet wah too. Bugis street was crowded with people , mostly youngsters in mid 20 + and 13 +++
Went browsing and browsing . I saw a T-shirt but in the end decide to save the money for Class tee . That one more important =)
JIa ping saw a nice clothes but the price was a bit expensive $20 ++ . We tried to bargin for a lesser price but the lady refused. In the end , she decide not to buy . But we did not left empty handed. Jia ping and I each bought a watch. There's a sale so we bought it for $5 .
Shop around till 8plus before heading home via MRT . Too tired, so I called Daddy to come fetch me at AMK bus-stop . Actually it's night so I am scared of going home . It's not good for a girl to go home alone at night too.
Sadly , the next day got school ...

Fallen ill again. Actually , the cough didn't really go away for a month. Old illness. I used to have asthma when I was three and from then on , thank god, asthma stop. But once and then , when I cough , I will get a bit breathless. Doctor said becasue of air passage. Scolded my mum that I should have gone and see the doctor yesterday, but I thought if I took the old medicine from last month , should be okay. But no. And this morning I took the cough medicine that will cause people to sleep. Great , so I almost fall asleeep during lessons and during the assembly talk by Mr yip. Feel terrible for the entire day, yesterday too. Now, my nose is red. Due to the Tissue Paper. Can't really concentrate today in class.
After school, had to rush home for tuition till 5.30pm. Then I go see doctor with mum. Hope I will get well before chinese new year. Don't want to miss out the goodies !

Went to take DHL hot air balloon with aunite, uncle and ridley. We got there late because my parents and yan ting had HAnan CHicken Rice for lunch . This one was different because the rice was roll up in a shape of a ball. They waited for 1/2 hour for the chicken rice to came. Turn out that the lady took the wrong table number. Then it was our turn to go up. I was scared at first , the balloon went all the way up , about 40 storey high. I was afraid of height as we had to stand in the balloon without any seat belt.
Everything was so small when I look down . Saw esplanade , suntec tower and Marina Madrain hotel AND the Sea wtih ships on it. Later went to Bugis to shop. I bought a pair of new shoes for $??? .Quite expensive but no choice, my feet size was small that even a size 4 ( smallest size of all shoes )can't even fit. ALl the shoes I saw , which I liked and within my budget are OUT . Course I simply can't wear it. Same goes for some clothes. But in terms of buying clothes , slightly better than buying shoes. Yipee , now all my new year 's clothes have been settle.
For dinner , went to food court to eat. Then I saw a disguised scene. People were coming in looking for places to have dinner AND THERE THEY WERE , SOME INCONSIDERATE PEOPLE WHO SIMPLY FINISHED THEIR FOOD ,SAT THERE CHATTING, SLOWLY DRINKING THEIR DRINKS . WORSE, THESE PEOPLE KNOW OTHERS ARE WAITING FOR THEIR SEATS , AND THEY SIMPLY TURN A BLIND EVYES AGAINST THEM AND CONTINUE THEIR ''LITTLE CHATS''. EVEN WORSE, TWO LADIES WHO DIDN"T EAT ANYTHING OR DRINK ANYTHING SAT THERE CHATIING , HOGGING THE SEATS. AND THERE WAS THIS TABLE OF SIX WHO ALSO HOG THE SEATS AFTER THE CLEANER HAD CLEAR UP THEIR DIRNKS AND FOOD!
ARE OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM THAT BAD? OR ARE TEACHERS CONCENTRATING TOO MUCH ON TEACHING WHAT THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO TEACH TO PREPARE STUDENTS FOR EXAMS THAT THEY DIDN"T TEACH THE STUDENTS THE BASIC MORALS ?
OR ARE PARENTS NOT TEACHING THEIR CHILD THE RIGHT THING. SOmetimes I even see parents doing the wrong things and not corrcting them . Their kids would then think whatever their mommy and daddy had did was right and learned from them.
IN A SHOPPING MALL , I SAW SOME PARENTS WANTING TO FEED THEIR KIDS MILK OR BREASTFEED NEW BORN BABIES. SO THEIR NEED A SEAT. BUT YOUNGSTERS JUST SIT THERE PRETENDING NOTHING HAD HAPPENED AND IGNORING THE POOR COUPLES LOOKING FOR SEATS TO FEED THEIR CHILDREN. IN THE END THEY END UP STANDING .
MRT AND BUS : GIVE UP YOUR SEATS FOR PEOPLE WHO NEED IT MORE THAN YOU. PEOPLE JUST TURNED THEIR EYE AGAINST IT. PREGNANT WOMEN HaD TO STAND THROUGHOUT THE RIDE WITHOUT ANYONE GIVING UP A SEAT FOR THEM.SAME GOES FOR ELDERLY. IF FORGINgERS OR TOURISTS WERE TO SEE IT , WHAT WOULD THEY THINK OF SINGAPOREANS ?
Thank godness not all singaporeans are like that. SOme in which I came across give up their seat for others. THank god my friends and I did the right thing when we give up all 3 of our seats for a pregnant lady . But I do admit that not all times I did the right thing.Sometimes I give up the seat for a person in need, someone else who come snatching the seat away .OR the person in need was far away from me that I couldn't give up the seat. If I do , others who came rushing for the seat. It happened before.
PS : No offends. The above is based on my own comment on what I've seen. I may not be 100% off guilty but not all singaporeans are like that. I belived there are some who are not among the black sheeps that spoiled the image of singapore.
Seriously , not wonder Singaporeans go overseas get dispise by people there by their behaviour.

2nd day of school. Get to know who 's teaching us what subjects. Chinese lesson , the class was spilt up according to our PSLE score and 2007 SA2 score. I was in the 1st class with chun hui and jia ping. Misses Ying xuan and kirti. ANyway we gotten Ms tan Bao Jun as our chinese teacher. Then the big news came. SHe said that if we did not get an A1 or A2 for our exam which is in May , we have to retake the paper. Rule set by our school. After that she went on a bit about briefing for the content of the Chinese paper and gave us a list of words we could use in our composition. Having a spelling on monday.
3rd day of school was okay. Turned out that Mr Adam Chan was now I think the only geography teacher in the school. So While our class and boys from 4e2 study geography , then those in other classes are studying Social Studies. Hope the school can get another teacher as soon as possible. Chemistry lesson: Class spilt into 2 . One taken by Ms loh , the other Mr Dinesh. I am in Mr Dinesh class together with ying xuan and kirti. But we do misses jia ping. SHe's in Ms loh class.
SO far so good. Commit programme starts next week. Hope everything goes well ....

Today is the first day of school. I don't even feel like returing cause it means facing reality . But one good thing is I will be able to see my friends.
Same form teacher as last year, and the last last year. Boy am I glad to get Ms ang .Co-form teacher change to Mr Dinesh. But the classroom for this year is at the far end corner of the school and it's rather dark with some trees outside. Not as good as last year. When we frist entered the classroom , there was no electricity and the clock was spoiled. But later mr lee came and switch on the main switch so we can 'cong jian guang ming'( see light again) . Did some admin work and filled in survey forms . And it's recess.
After that had a briefing in the hall regarding O-level of course. Seems scary upon hearing it. It may be the truth but teachers just had to constantly remind us . The more they talk about it, the more nervous I will become. I don't want to face it but yet in less than 10 months I 'll be taking the major paper that determine my future.
Then return to class for sitting arrangement. Maybe we are growth up that MS ang alowed us to sit in pairs in whichever way we want. I ended up in front with ying xuan. Jia ping and kirti are beside us. Thank godness. I will miss them if they are somewhere else in the class.Had a class bonding game which Mr dinesh thought of . the murderer game. Same version as the hunter and polar bear one in which we played during growth camp last year.
Then it's going home time. Lessons starting tomorrow. Hope everything go well ....

Out with the old, in with the new.
2008 is here .
It's so soon. I feels like yesterday , when I first stepped into the school without knowing anyone, and now I had made many friends and out of whom I had 4 close ones.
It's a critical year for me as well as many others. I can't deny the fact that I am not scared. I am . I am not prepared yet I had to face it , face reality . It's the same feelings just that it's more worse than 4 years ago when I took PSLE. The only thing I remembered being afraid of was being separated from my friends. Thank God, I had chun hui and cheris entering the same secondary school as me , so it's fine.
But I am afraid that I will go to post tertiary schools in which non of my friends are there with me and I had to made new ones. Some of them may have already know each other and I may seem weird if I just blurt in.
Another thing is I am afraid that I couldn't get into a JC or Poly. There are so many people in Singapore fighting for the place and it's really getting competitive as the years passes. Look at the number of university places . Singapore's education system may be good but sometimes , came to think about it , you might find it scary.
Countdown...I have only 10 months left to prepare for the big paper. SO it means so little time, so many things to do. I just hope that my sciences and maths would be good. These are my weak subjects. Ans I have to buck up on SS, Geo and Eng. Maintain my chi .
