Today is the eve of national day. In the morning, when I came to school, saw a lot of primary school kids and secondary school kids wearing red T-shirt ! I was so envious of them. Remember 3 years ago when i was still in primary school , the national day celebrations was quite memorable. Now , I was wearing my school uniform to school .No red t-shirts or anything. So I was sort of grumbling to chun hui ,sally and jia ping. but recovered after I reached school.
Our school also had the green carnival cum national day celebration. Actually the celebration is nothing. Just the noraml stuff and so. LAter, chun hui, jia ping and I proceed on to the PRIDE GARDEN for carnival . We were supposed to introduce the PRIDE GARDEN to the Lower Sec pupils and let them take a quiz. The first 5 people of each class who got everything correct will get a prize. VEry tired. Stand under the hot sun for about 1 hr +++ and the pupils still did not cooperate. All wanted prizes despite getting the qn wrong. LOwer Sec veru difficult to maintain. SImply don't understand English . Only some really take the opportunity to learn something and did the quiz seriously. The rest, forget it. So if ppl really says our school 's students attitude is bad, I agreed. They never take anything seriously and don't appreciate what activities people had planned for them. They simply take things for granted. Can't believe what our country woule be like 10-20 years down the road with about 80% of SIngaporeans with attitude like that. DOesn't meant to critize people or my own country. I just don't wish to see the price our forefathers had pay for the peace we had today to be gone.
Anyway , went to jia ping and ying xuan 's primary school today .They having a carnival there , with food and games. I played the ' picking up the marbles within 30 sec game'. DIdn't quite managed . The time limit given was too short. In the end , got a sweet instead. Then we go AMK hub eat. Jia ping and I shared the MIni wok .When we carried the food to our table, jia ping was havign tears in her eyes and i was having a running nose . All beacause ofthe fire. Saw a lot of school 's students there. Half day what ... ANd we go window shopping and but some snacks to eat . We were wandering around when jia ping like want to sleep so we went home.
Can't wait for tmr . Going to watch NDP PArade live at yi yi 's house. Going there to play badminton and tennis in the afternoon and watch the parade at night .From her house there, can see fireworks
