Where do dreams go from here?

Growth Camp 2007 was over before I knew it . It lasted for 3 days 2 nights at Changi Coast MOE campsite. It was very fun and the best camp I ever had , even better than last year one. Except for the ants hole filled with many ants and that the toilets are quite dirty , everything else was perfectly fine. Last year Growth Camp was okay , but the instructors were not as fun and outgoing like this year, and the activities were quite boring.

Day one : We were being introduced on our instructors. They were two guys namely Mark & Wayne . Wayne took another class as the instructor for that class was over at the camp site. So Mark stayed with us . We played ice-breaking games while waiting for the other school over at the camp site to leave before we can go. We played games like " Concentration", "hunter and polar bear","Tookie Tookie game","Blow wind blow". 'Blow wind blow' was fun as everyone rushes for an empty seat as people who are standing for more than 3 times will be punished. ha ha =), filbert 1st one to 'Gana' ( to be punish) . He was made to do a dance while we sing. Then Filbert got Tian Yi out so the 2 of them danced while we sang Barney ending song - I love u , u love me, we are happy family ....
Ha ha the way they dance was hilarious . At about 10.15am , we had recess but only one stall was opened so the quene was rather long. Then at about 11.am plus we set off for the camp site. Our class was supposed to be the 1st to arrived there but because of the bus driver, we arrived there last. Everyone was like in the bus grumbling.

At the camp site , we played games based on teamwork. Games like there is a stone then, everyone were supposed to get up on it and sang a song before coming down . We were divided into 2 groups , A & B . I was in B . Next we played the balancing pole and the Tarzan which we swing from one side of the rope to the other. We had lunch. Our class do duty first by serving & monitoring people for washing their utensils . After lunch we played ' Tookie Tookie 'with our instructors and went for IPW. Dinner comes then discuss about the preparations for campfire. We finally decide on a cheer going by the rythem clap pf 'Everybody Dance Now' and a dance ' Alga tiggy'.
Night walk was also known as 'Blind men walk' where eveyone had to be blindfolded by a T-shirt and form a 'Too - too train line'. Mark go & tease us that what we are stepping is a gravestone & must say sorry when we crossed.Almost everyone believed him & we were like laughing & saying sorry to what is not a grave but a drain !!! Later we blame him for teasing us & he was laughing away...

Day 2 : We played high elements games like ' Abseiling, Ziplining,Rock-climbing & other high element games' . I only went for one high elements game in which you have to climbe to the top of the log,stand on it, grab the thing hanging & swing. I cried when i stood on top of the log. Very nervous a& scared as i was scared of height.I didn't managed to caught that thing but at least I tried. Then I went for Ziplining known as Flying Fox if i am not wrong. Quite fun but when I came down , I closed my eyes. Worst, helmet want to dropped.
In the afternoon after lunch, we had kyaking and raft buliding. The process of buliding a raft was fun as everyone chip in to help even us girls who don't really had much strength as compared to the guys. We went for Kyaking after that.Worst, we had to stand on the kyate holding each the hands of people next to us in the front row . I was scared to death. I am a non-swimmer, standing on the kyate in the middle of the sea? Who's not scared . Then when we return to shore, Wayne pushed me and chia hao down into the water and splashed seawater at us causing my eyes to hurt. We had to washed our kyate and they were VERY HEAVY indeed . Need the guys for help.
Then it was shower,dinner and last minute campfire prepration.

321...Campfire. We sang songs like ' I caught a little bumble bee', ' Yipee yah yah','campfire burning up','ti ti ti ti ti I lost my head ...','she 'll be comig around the mountain' and lots more. Our class was called up second and we did our performance . Other performances were getting quite boring one after another . Tian yi was like 'No creative, take a bit here and there and out together as a performance' and 'copy our class' . ha ha =) but good effort though. Poor Mark , we sabotage him & he had soapwater poured on him. He was freezing & feeling cold when we were having supper. Supper was okay . We had bread & hot milo. Later we played simon says. The instructors were very good at it . Everyone was out of the game & they won. For black magic , i still don't get how they played but never mind .It was a tiring day ....

Day 3 : Woke up at about 6plus to pack stuff and wash-up. We had farewell songs and thanks given by the instructors. Wow, 3 days passed really fast before I knew it , it's over. I am starting to miss camp even before we left. I together with my classmates will miss Mark , Wayne & Ming Li. Special arh , our class got 3 instructors cause Wayne sick on Day 2 . Camp Chief Polar was like wanting to cry ... Finally after much goodbyes, we left .

The camp was truly enjoyable . Best camp ever . I would never forget it so do others. 3e1 was like really missing them ( instructors ) . ha ha =0 . Ms ang took some photos for us . If wants to see, go to 3e1 class blog to view . Got our very own unique cheer too =)
